We’ll arrive at your home or venue with vintage tableware & gourmet treats. We’ll set the table & plate up the delicacies, all before your guests arrive.

Love entertaining, styling the table & setting the scene? This package lets your creative flair shine.

Collect our vintage tableware up to one week in advance, allowing plenty of set-up time. Then simply pick-up delicious treats, lovingly prepared by us, on the day.

Combine our hire-only package with your own culinary prowess to impress your guests. Or recruit your gal pals to “bring a plate” for a very traditional kitchen tea.

How does a China Billy High Tea work?

How do I book?

  1. Choose a package to suit your vision & budget.

  2. Contact us & pay a small deposit to reserve your date.

  3. Select your menu items - upon booking we’ll email you current menu selections. (View an example here.) You can also upgrade to our premium selection for an extra $10 pp.

  4. Finalise numbers & payment two weeks prior to your event.

Do you have a minimum number of guests?

No. We love groups of all sizes. Couples, too. Some menu items may not be available for groups of less than 8, but we’ll notify you in advance. Our “China Royal” package is designed for 8 or more guests, but we’re happy to provide a custom quote for smaller gatherings.

What if I need a venue?

Not keen to host at home? We have a few venues up our sleeve that we can discuss with you.

What tableware is included?

Sit-down & dessert-bar style packages include vintage teacups trios & silver teaspoons; 3-tier cake stands & silver trays; silver teapot, milk jug & sugar bowl sets; jam & cream bowls (as required); 100% linen tablecloths in soft grey; cocktail napkins; & dainty paper doilies (for placemats).

Who does the washing up?

We do! All we ask is you rinse the tableware to remove any food or drink residue, leave to air dry & then re-pack in our custom crates (if you’ve opted for our “China Royal” package simply rinse as per above and leave to dry on a safe table or surface. We’ll come and re-pack for you at a mutually convenient time).

What about breakages?

We do ask that any breakages are paid for. We’ll keep your $100 deposit as a bond and you accept liability for all items while they’re in your care. Please note, additional charges may be incurred if the replacement expense is greater than $100. For details please read our terms & conditions. Breakages are rare and we do all we can to find the lowest cost replacements.
